About Josh
Josh is an up and coming magician in the Kansas City area. Having studied and learned from some of the most respected minds in magic, he has used the wisdom given to him to take the audience experience from seeing a few cheap tricks, to an emotional experience: sometimes poignant, sometimes hilarious, but always entertaining.
Josh has Recently, Josh kicked his creative talents into high gear, and premiered his original act, that was five years in the making, at various competitions, and the results have been great. 3rd Place at the Midwest Magic Jubilee in St. Louis (2007), 1st Place at the Close-Up Magician of the Year Competition in Kansas City (2008). He also returned to the Midwest Magic Jubilee in 2008 to take 1st.
An accomplished actor, Josh is no stranger to the stage (or having things go wrong!) and is able to use his training to create a theatrical experience for his audiences.
Josh combines all the elements of his training to create a humorous, but altogether entertaining show. Whether performing in a five-star restaurant, at a wedding reception, or on board a 747 (and he has performed at all three) the reaction to Josh's magic has been nothing short of enthusiastic.
